Ola Salmon is a student at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. She started playing flute at the age of 7 under the supervision of DMA Maria Peradzyńska and graduated Karol Szymanowski Music School in Warsaw with honors.

At the beginning of her musical education, she received the highest scores at mid-term and final exams. She is a laureate of many international and national flute competitions, incl. -“Pro Bohemia” in Ostrava - International BFS Competition in London, - International Competition "Il flauto Ricercato", - The International Flute Competition in Katowice. - Moscow International Music Competition - 2nd Eugeniusz Towarnicki International Flute Competition - Citta di Massa International Competition - International Youth Music Competition.

Ola also studied at master classes under the guidance of outstanding artists, such as Denis Bouriakov, Paolo Taballione, András Adorján, Berten D'Hollander, Giovanni Gandolfo, Gareth McLearnon, Carlo Jans, Frank-Immo Zichner, Mario Caroli, Dejan Gavric, Aldo Baerten, Carsten Eckert and Sven Birch.

Ola is a scholarship holder of the National Children's Fund and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. She also actively participated in the Youth Music Academy in the 2018/2019 academic year at the G. and K. Bacewicz in Łódź, with Prof. Dr. Hab. Antoni Wierzbiński.

She has been gaining experience in performing chamber music for the past three years under the supervision of many professors at master classes at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Center for Music.

Currently, she is playing in a duo with the pianist Quing Xu under the supervision of prof. Joanna Maklakiewicz and Mischa Kozłowski and has also been playing symphonic and wind orchestras for 6 years, gaining experience in both flute and piccolo playing.

Aside from music, Ola is also interested in learning foreign languages. Currently, in addition to Polish and English, she is preparing for Japanese exams and is taking lessons in Chinese, French, Korean and Spanish.
