Mathias Boudesseul-Marchon

Mathias Boudesseul-Marchon is a french flutist born in 2007. He entered the Conservatoire de Strasbourg at the age of six, where he studied flute under Olivier Touratier and Raquele Magalhaes, while also pursuing a ballet dance program in the same school. He graduated in 2025, earning his Diplomas with high distinctions in flute and music theory as well as a Choreographic Studies Diploma.
Mathias was invited to play at the Haguenau Symphonic Orchestra for the 2023-2024 season and participated in several editions of the Ticino Musica Festival. He won the audition at the Haute École de Musique de Genève in 2025, where he continues to hone his craft under the guidance of Jacques Zoon. That same year, he was awarded the prestigious Pierre Pfimlin Prize by the City of Strasbourg Eurométropole.
Alongside his musical journey, Mathias began exploring the art of woodwind instrument making during internships at Le Salon de Musique Strasbourg. He has also taken part in masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Nathalie Rozat (2022), François Lazarevitch (2023), Philippe Bernold (2024), Andrea Oliva (2024) and Vincent Lucas (2025).
