Khoi Dinh is currently pursuing graduate studies at the Juilliard School and recently graduated with a Bachelor of Music from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) with Denis and Erin Bouriakov under the comprehensive Falk-Columbo Scholarship.

Dinh was most recently a fellow at the Pacific Music Festival (Sapporo, Japan) and has performed with ensembles such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic (direction: Gustavo Dudamel/ Esa Pekka Salonen), American Youth Symphony, and the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America/NYO2, through which he appeared in Carnegie Hall’s Isaac Stern Auditorium and partook in an Asia tour (direction: Michael Tilston Thomas/ Giancarlo Guerrero).

Additionally he attended the Nice International Music Academy (Nice, France) in the studios of Philippe Bernold and Vincent Lucas and Orford Music Academy (Quebec, Canada). He is a recipient of a scholarship from the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein with professor Philippe Bernold.

Dinh has received the Jack Smith Memorial Award for Most Promising Young Talent from the Pasadena Showcase House Instrumental Competition, is a 2018-2020 National YoungArts Foundation winner in classical music, finalist on NPR’s From the Top, winner of the 2020 UCLA All-Star Competition, San Francisco Flute Society competition, and two-time first prize winner of the Rotary Club Music Competition.
